Commercial upper-floor window cleaning
Commercial window and exterior cleaning across the North West. Scope, access and timing agreed for your building.
Request a quoteUpper-floor commercial windows need an access review as well as a glass-cleaning specification. Monk Cleaning Services considers North West enquiries for upper-storey glazing across commercial buildings. Identify the floors and elevations you want included and show the surrounding space, so the proposed work can be assessed on the building's actual layout.
Describe each elevation from the ground
A front elevation may be open while the rear windows sit over an extension, enclosed courtyard or neighbouring land. Provide a broad photograph of each side, including the area at the base. Note recesses, projecting sections, trees and canopies that affect the approach to upper windows.
Use the building's floor names or numbers consistently. If the site slopes, explain the difference between internal floor levels and external ground level. Approximate heights can help begin the discussion, but you do not need to obtain measurements from a roof, balcony edge or other restricted position.
Separate the two faces of the glass
External cleaning and access to the inside face are distinct requirements. For internal work, name the rooms and identify desks, furniture or controlled areas beside the windows. Tell us about windows above staircases or open voids, which need more information than the floor number alone provides.
If the building has existing window-cleaning access arrangements, tell us what information is available. Relevant plans and maintenance records may assist the review. The presence of installed equipment, an opening window or a roof route does not itself confirm a suitable method for the proposed work.
Agree the approach and included windows
The assessment considers the geometry, working area and site operation before confirming how the work can be approached. Upper-storey cleaning should not be promised from a general reach figure or storey count. The quotation should identify the included elevations and any areas that need further investigation or a different arrangement.
Tell us who can coordinate parking, neighbouring access and any occupied areas below the windows. Give your preferred frequency and explain whether the first clean involves unusual marks or a long gap in maintenance. That information supports a specific proposal for a one-off visit or recurring work.
Upper-floor cleaning questions
Can only the upper windows be requested?
Yes. Identify the floors and panes clearly, including whether entrance or lower-level glass is excluded. A marked elevation photograph helps ensure the requested boundary is understood before the work is priced.
Does the floor number determine the method?
No. Distance from the facade, obstructions, the shape of the building and the available working position also matter. Provide the site context and allow the assessment to establish the appropriate approach.
Can windows above another property's land be included?
Flag that arrangement early and identify who controls the area. Any necessary permissions and access conditions need to be understood before a scope is confirmed; the existence of a visible route does not describe the right to use it.
Begin with the address, elevation photographs and a contact who knows the building's access arrangements.
