Window cleaning for care homes
Commercial window and exterior cleaning across the North West. Scope, access and timing agreed for your building.
Request a quoteCare-home window cleaning needs a clear scope and a coordinated visit. We provide commercial window cleaning for care premises across the North West, with access and the proposed working arrangement discussed with the person responsible for the building.
Protect the distinction between external and internal work
External windows, reception glass, communal rooms and residents' bedrooms are separate parts of the brief. State which are required and whether internal faces are included. A quote for the outside of a building should not be interpreted as permission to enter occupied rooms.
Where internal cleaning is requested, explain how room access is authorised and coordinated. The site team knows its residents and operating arrangements; those requirements need to be part of planning the visit.
Make privacy and daily routines part of the brief
Tell us about periods or areas that need particular consideration, including activities, visitors and the use of communal spaces. Identify the staff member who can guide access on the day and any arrangements that cleaners must follow when moving around the premises.
If your organisation requires specific induction, vetting or contractor documents, list those requirements at enquiry stage so the team can confirm what is available before work is agreed.
Describe the building and its surroundings
Include the number of storeys, separate wings or annexes, and any windows above conservatories or other obstructions. Courtyards, secure gardens and controlled gates should be mentioned because the access route may not be visible from the main entrance.
Photographs should focus on the building and glass, avoiding residents, care records or other personal information. Existing exterior images and a basic site description are sufficient to begin a quotation request.
Agree a practical programme
A regular programme can be discussed around the building's needs, while one-off work can be considered for specific areas. Specify whether the whole exterior or only named elevations are included. If gutters, fascias or other exterior surfaces also need attention, list them separately.
The quotation and agreed arrangements should make the scope, access responsibilities and timing clear. That gives the home manager a concrete proposal to review before the visit is booked.
