Window cleaning for apartment blocks and managing agents
Commercial window and exterior cleaning across the North West. Scope, access and timing agreed for your building.
Request a quoteWe provide commercial window cleaning for managed apartment blocks across the North West. The key starting point is the management scope: communal glazing, exterior windows and privately arranged work are not automatically the same responsibility.
Define exactly which windows are included
Identify entrance screens, stairwells, corridors and other communal glass. For external apartment windows, specify the elevations and whether all units are included. If some windows are residents' responsibility, make that exclusion clear in the request.
Balcony doors, glass balustrades, recessed windows and glazed canopies should be named separately. Access and ownership arrangements may differ, and these surfaces should not be assumed to fall within a general window cleaning price.
Explain the access permissions
Tell us who can arrange access to gates, courtyards and secure entrances. If a route crosses another property or a window can only be reached from a private balcony, flag that early. A managing agent's instruction does not by itself describe how every private area will be accessed.
The responsible management team should establish any resident notices or appointments required. Include your preferred communication process in the brief so the proposed visit can be coordinated with the building's arrangements.
Make the quote suitable for review
For a block or estate budget, a clear building list is more useful than a single total for “all windows”. Name each block, the agreed surfaces and proposed frequency. That makes it easier to explain the scope to the party approving the work and to compare future changes.
Distinguish an initial clean from the ongoing programme, especially where the building has not been cleaned recently. Marks left by construction, paint or other residues should be described as separate requirements for assessment.
Include related maintenance without assumptions
Gutter clearance, fascias, render and cladding can be considered as additional exterior tasks. List the affected buildings and surfaces individually, rather than assuming a window contract covers them. Known defects or access restrictions should be supplied with the brief.
To begin, provide the site postcode, block names, management contact and a concise description of the glazing. Photographs should show the building and access areas without capturing residents or private information.
