Request a quoteCommercial roof cleaning and moss-removal requests can be assessed through our North West exterior cleaning service. Roof material, condition, access and the work requested all need to be understood before a method or quotation can be confirmed.
State the roof task precisely
Tell us whether the request concerns moss, surface dirt, rooflights, gutters or several items. Rooflight glazing and gutter clearance are separate scopes from cleaning a roof surface. Naming each item helps prevent a maintenance brief from leaving gaps between different tasks.
Cleaning should not be treated as a repair for leaks, damaged coverings or defective drainage. Describe any known building problems, but do not assume that removing surface material will resolve them. A cleaning assessment may identify information that needs to come from the property's own maintenance or specialist advisers.
Use existing building information
Share the roof type, approximate age if known, any existing condition reports and relevant manufacturer guidance through an agreed channel. Tell us if the material is uncertain or if there are areas known to be fragile or restricted. Those are reasons for assessment, not details to omit in order to get a quicker price.
Existing ground photographs, drawings or maintenance images can be helpful. Please do not climb onto the roof or enter an access-restricted area to create material for the enquiry.
Include the site below the roof
The buildings and operations underneath matter too. Identify entrances, loading bays, occupied areas, neighbouring property and any equipment around the roof edge. If access must be coordinated with a site manager or landlord, provide the appropriate contact.
Where a shutdown or maintenance period is being planned, give the proposed dates and explain what other contractors may be involved. The team needs to confirm the feasibility and sequence; a requested date is not a booking.
What the quotation should make clear
Before accepting a proposal, check which roofs or sections are included, the intended cleaning scope, related gutter work if any, and the agreed access arrangements. If only part of a site has been assessed, do not assume the price includes every roof or outbuilding.
