We provide commercial window cleaning for hotels and hospitality premises across the North West. A useful brief separates guest accommodation, public spaces and exterior elevations, then explains how the building is occupied and who can coordinate access.

Separate guest rooms from communal glazing

Reception doors, restaurant windows, lounge glazing and bedroom windows may all have different access arrangements. State whether the request is for external cleaning, internal cleaning or both. Internal room access needs to be agreed with the responsible hotel team rather than assumed from an exterior quotation.

Include annexes, leisure facilities or separate function buildings if they are part of the request. Where a property has several wings, a labelled plan or building list helps make the included scope clear.

Explain the operating calendar

Tell us about guest changeovers, breakfast service, functions or other periods you would like considered. For a seasonal premises, give the proposed opening or closure dates. These details help the team discuss a workable arrangement, but a requested window of time still needs confirmation.

If a large event is the reason for the enquiry, state its date and the priority areas. A one-off presentation clean and a recurring programme serve different needs; the quotation should make clear which is being proposed.

Identify glazing that needs assessment

Balconies, recessed windows, atriums and glazed roofs may require more information than a normal elevation photograph provides. Show the surrounding access where possible and explain who controls it. Do not ask staff to enter restricted roof areas to prepare images for the enquiry.

For internal glass, flag furnishings, curtains and guest possessions that could affect access. The site team should establish who prepares each area and how occupied rooms are handled before a visit is agreed.

Keep the wider exterior in scope only where needed

Signage, gutters, fascias, cladding and other exterior surfaces can be listed in the same enquiry. They should appear as named tasks rather than being presumed part of the window price. If the business has several venues, provide separate addresses and local contacts so each building can be assessed on its own requirements.

A short initial message with the postcode, building type, glass required and preferred timing is enough to begin. Additional site details can then be clarified with the person managing the premises.
