Window cleaning for schools, colleges and universities
Commercial window and exterior cleaning across the North West. Scope, access and timing agreed for your building.
Request a quoteWe provide commercial window cleaning for schools, colleges and universities across the North West. Education sites benefit from a brief organised by building and use, with access requirements and requested dates identified before a programme is agreed.
Break a campus into named buildings
List classroom blocks, halls, offices and other buildings separately. A single campus address can include very different window layouts and access conditions. State whether each building needs outside windows, inside faces or both, and identify communal doors or partitions if they are included.
Sports halls, stairwells, atriums and high glazing should be highlighted for assessment. Do not assume a quote for ordinary classroom windows includes every glazed roof or difficult-to-reach section on the site.
Give dates and requirements early
If you prefer school holidays, a reading week or another closure period, provide the actual dates. “During the holidays” can mean different things across establishments. Availability and the proposed sequence still need to be confirmed.
Explain sign-in procedures, site induction and any contractor documentation or vetting requirements. The team needs to confirm these against the proposed work before booking.
Arrange access through the right contact
Name the premises or facilities contact who can coordinate keys, gates and access to individual blocks. If a department controls a laboratory, studio or other restricted room, identify that dependency instead of assuming the central site contact can admit everyone.
For internal windows, tell us about desks, teaching materials, displays or fixed equipment near the glass. The responsible staff can then agree what needs to be prepared and how occupied or restricted areas will be managed.
Clarify one-off and recurring requirements
A whole-campus first clean may be a different scope from a regular programme for entrance areas and main elevations. You can request both in the same enquiry, with each building and interval set out clearly. Add gutter, roofline or other exterior work as separate items if it is needed.
Photographs can help show building layouts, but avoid including pupils, student information or visible records. A building list, postcode and concise scope are enough to start the quotation process.
