Commercial solar panel cleaning
Commercial window and exterior cleaning across the North West. Scope, access and timing agreed for your building.
Request a quoteMonk Cleaning Services considers commercial solar panel cleaning enquiries across the North West. The panel location, access arrangements and the system's maintenance guidance need to be reviewed before the cleaning scope and method are agreed.
Describe the installation
Give the site address, the approximate number or extent of panels and whether the array is on a roof or elsewhere. If several buildings have panels, identify each one. A quotation for one array should not be assumed to include another part of the premises.
Tell us who manages the installation and who can provide maintenance instructions or access information. If the panels are maintained by a separate company, make that relationship clear so the cleaning request can be coordinated with the responsible party.
Set a realistic cleaning objective
Explain the visible condition: for example, a general build-up of dirt or a particular area of soiling. Cleaning is different from inspecting, repairing or diagnosing the electrical system. An issue with output should not automatically be attributed to dirty panels.
We do not quote a guaranteed percentage increase in generation from photographs or a cleaning enquiry. The purpose of the assessment is to determine the requested cleaning work, its suitability and how it could be carried out, not to promise an energy-performance result.
Access and manufacturer guidance come first
Provide the manufacturer's maintenance guidance and relevant site information if available. Note roof-access restrictions, fragile areas, adjacent plant and any other condition already known to the facilities team. Where information is missing, tell us rather than guessing.
Use existing photographs or views from normally accessible ground-level areas. Do not go onto a roof or interact with electrical equipment to prepare a quote request. Further assessment and coordination can be discussed with the appropriate site contact.
Keep other roof work separate
If gutters, roof surfaces or rooflights also need cleaning, include them as distinct items. This allows the proposal to separate the panel cleaning scope from other exterior maintenance, and to state any access requirements or exclusions for each part of the job.
