State the access uncertainty directly

Liverpool Window Cleaner offers skylight and roof-window cleaning in Toxteth. If you are unsure how an outside face can be approached, explain that in the enquiry. You can provide useful information without choosing an access method or assuming that a clear view of the pane establishes a workable route.

Name the requested windows and faces. A pane visible from an upstairs room may sit beside another roof or boundary that is not obvious in a close photograph. Wider context helps the assessment start with the actual layout.

Separate confirmed information from proposals

Routes that are currently available from your property.
Fixed roofs, walls or structures affecting the approach.
Any proposed route needing another person's permission.
Inside faces that you also want considered.
Windows that are optional within the enquiry.

Any existing photographs you choose to share should come from normal accessible positions; describe anything that cannot be shown. There is no need to enter another property, climb onto a roof or lean out to demonstrate a possible route. Permission and practical suitability both need clear discussion. Your postcode and the service you need are enough for the first enquiry; existing photos or records are optional.

Allow a defined scope to emerge

The proposed surfaces, their condition and available approach are assessed before arrangements are agreed. If a face cannot be included, ask for that limitation to be stated. This is more useful than an undefined promise to clean all skylights regardless of the information available.

Inside access can be described separately. Show the room below, including furniture, stairs and coverings. A restriction outside does not automatically determine the inside scope, and an inside quotation should not be interpreted as including exterior work too.

Keep surrounding maintenance outside assumptions

Report known leaks, cracked panes or mechanism faults before requesting cleaning. Surface washing does not repair the unit or inspect the roof as a whole. Material on surrounding roof coverings and debris in gutters are different tasks from cleaning named glass faces.

For ordinary interior windows alongside the roof panes, see internal window cleaning. Keep each roof-window group explicit so a standard room list does not conceal the access question you raised.

Questions about a restricted approach

Can I enquire with only an inside photograph?

It can help locate the window, but explain what exterior information is missing. Existing wider outside views are welcome if available from normally accessible positions. An initial image should not be treated as confirmation of a route that has not been shown or described.

Can a difficult outside face be excluded?

A limited scope can be discussed. Identify the excluded face and the other work requested, including any interior panes. The accepted description should make that boundary readable rather than implying full coverage.
